Although it does not seem to be a delicate operation, especially if we are the lady who for years have subjected them to dyes, discolorations, permanent and ironing, beautiful to see but which cause inevitable trauma to the hair. So here are some tips to avoid mistakes
It looks like the discovery of hot water, but are you sure that when you wash your hair you do it in the correct way ? Instinctively we would say that we do not need any advice on how to clean our hair, and yet, given that in life there is always something to learn , there are some important precautions that it is good to know if you do not want to damage the hair.
More reasonably if you are already 50 years old and for years have submitted them to dyes, discolorations, permanents and ironing , beautiful to look at but that cause inevitable trauma to our hair.
So here are all the indications not to subject your hair to unnecessary stress and to allow you to wash them in the right way:
WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY
It is harmful, because a too frequent cleansing is not good for the hair . Daily washing attacks the hair, causing the rebound effect on the skin (which produces more sebum than normal) while the lengths tend to dry out.
PASS TOO MUCH TIME BETWEEN ONE WASH AND ANOTHER
It ‘another mistake not to be committed because the accumulation of sebum and other impurities on the skin, in fact, suffocates the follicle with consequent risk of falling . Set yourself according to your hair type and wash them only when you realize they are dirty . It seems logical but it is not. In general, the correct time between one wash and the next is 3/4 days.
HOT WATER, COLD WATER
Only using cold water is unthinkable, if not in summer by the sea. The ideal is to use water at a medium temperature and make the last rinse with cold water : in this way you will not only revitalize your hair but make it much shinier and brighter.
WHEN TO WASH THEM: MORNING OR EVENING?
In general it is always better to wash your hair in the morning , especially if you have very fat hair, because during the night the skin produces a lot more sebum than during the day. Washing them in the morning will allow you to breathe both to the skin and to the hair follicles. If you prefer to wash them in the evening, be careful not to go to bed with damp hair. Always dry them perfectly because in addition to preventing knots from forming , caused by rubbing on the pillow, you will also prevent irritation to the scalp and the formation of any fungus, that develop easily in warm and humid environments, as can be the hair not perfectly dry and resting on the pillow.
THE CHOICE OF SHAMPOO
We all know that it is very important. A wrong shampoo not only damages your hair but does not even allow it to be styled like we want . In addition to choosing a specific shampoo for your hair type, always choose one that does not contain sulfates and avoid products that are too foamy.
BALSAM AND MASK
The mistake we make more frequently when we use a detangling product such as the mask or the balm, is to apply the product on the hair still soaked with water , with the result that the water slips off the product and makes the application vanish.
Squeeze the hair well with your hands and remove all the excess water : only then apply the detangling or restructuring product, always and only on the lengths and never on the skin . Leave it in place for 2/3 minutes at most and rinse well.
The most suitable is the one in micro fibre , which does not stress the hair like the one in the towel. If you do not want to risk breaking and ruffling the cuticles, do not rub them vigorously but dab them gently . You will take a few minutes to dry them but you will avoid ruining them.
If you wonder why, despite the smooth and disciplined products your hair has that unbearable frizz , know that often the fault is the turban. Leave the hair wrapped in the towel or for too long (the recommended maximum is a minute or two) is a habit to avoid, because it retains moisture , first among the causes of frizz.
